Oren is a lifelong writer who has worked in diverse fields such as entertainment and technology to support his passion. Honing his skills first as a writer’s assistant and editor and then as a technology analyst, he made the leap to full-time writer in 2023 at the behest of colleagues. Oren’s earlier work was primarily behind-the-scenes or in settings where anonymity is the default.
He is currently working on several novels and screenplays, solo and with several collaborators, in varying stages of development.
Oren lives in rural New York with his two dogs, Turbo and Greasemonkey, and a roommate who wishes to remain anonymous so the greys don’t find him. His hobbies include video games, high-end audio, and restoring historical photographs and film footage.
